Kosuke-sensei is a patient and knowledgeable teacher. I have been studying with him for the past three months, and I plan to continue our lessons for the foreseeable future. His classes are extremely interactive, which was a very important factor for me. He is also exceptionally well-organized; this was something that immediately impressed me, as many teachers on iTalki are not as structured. Lastly, Kosuke-sensei identified the specific areas I needed to focus on and has demonstrated an ability to customize his classes to suit a student's individual needs.

Kosuke Sensei is great! We just started Genki 2. He is patient with me when I need help understanding a lesson and is great at explaining each of the lessons in Genki 1 and 2. He does a great Job of coming up with questions in addition to the Genki textbook to help further study each of the concepts. I have been studying with him once a week for about six months. He has been exactly on time and fully present for all of those lessons. He has also been really great about figuring out when I need additional time with a lesson before moving on to the next one. I highly recommend Kosuke sensei.

I booked a lesson with Kosuke to prepare for a job interview. Kosuke is a straightforward, honest teacher and I can tell he has a lot of valuable professional experience. I was a bit blindsided during my lesson, however, because I was told to fix grammatical mistakes in my interview script with AI, which I was not expecting or informed of prior to the lesson. It was surprising especially as there were many reviews from students highlighting his patience in correcting their Japanese. For potential students who would like to book an interview course, I suggest making sure your script is as polished as possible so you can maximize your practice time.

I really enjoy instructor Kosuke's style. He's patient, gives very clear explanations, and understands both English and Japanese at a deep level. I've noticed a big improvement in my grammar and feel more confident to speak to others in Japanese.
