Hi, I’m Arthur! I’m a native German speaker from Marburg. I grew up in Germany, but since my dad lived in London from the time I was three, I often visited him there and became fluent in both German and English.
For the past five years, I’ve been living in different countries across Southeast Asia, working online and meeting people from all over the world. I’ve also traveled to 37 countries and lived in Australia for over a year.
Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about traveling, sports, fitness & health, scuba diving, outdoor adventures, movies, and spending time in nature and with animals—so if you’re into any of those, I'm sure we’ll have lots to talk about. :)我的教學經歷
In 2020, I started working as a science teacher at an international school, teaching children aged 8–12. After completing a 120-hour TEFL course, I also began tutoring English privately for kids.
Through these experiences, I discovered how much I enjoy teaching and supporting students in their learning journey. That’s why I decided to focus on the language I feel most at home with—German.
I’ve now been teaching German on italki for over four years, working with learners from all around the world. In 2024, I also successfully completed the DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen) course at the Goethe-Institut, which further strengthened my skills as a language teacher.我的課程內容與教學風格

Arthur ist der beste Lehrer! Ich lerne seit 5 Monaten mit Arthur und mittlerweile ist mein Deutsch dank ihm sehr gut geworden. Es ist immer eine Freude, mit ihm Unterricht zu haben. I am simply ecstatic to have finally found the absolute perfect German teacher for myself here on iTalki. I am confident that by seeing Arthur regularly over an extended period of time, I will eventually be able to speak the German language. I appreciate, above all, Arthur's willingness to adapt to my personal learning style and method, which probably matters the most to me in any learning process. I have learnt so much in just an hour, be it in terms of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, the spontaneous construction of sentences or listening skills. Besides the productivity and effectiveness of our first session, Arthur's wonderful personality and energy made it a fun and extremely pleasurable experience, even though I was exceedingly nervous before the lesson due to my lack of experience with the language. Has been difficult for me to find a teacher with a sharp and smart dynamic. I just had two lessons with Arthur, do not want to anticipate, but I think I just found the person who will both properly motivate me not to give up on German and elevate my level to that soooo wanted C1!
