Assistant Teacher of Japanese LanguageWas dispatched to a junior high school in the Philippines as an assistant to a local Japanese teacher.
Provided support to the local Japanese language teachers and taught content utilizing the strengths of native Japanese speakers.
Also visited other junior high schools and universities in the Philippines and participated in Japan-related events.

2019 - 2022
Japanese Language Instructor/ ESL OICAssisted the head of the Japanese Language Department with curriculum design and online lesson development. Achieved a 100% passing rate in internal and external exams. Used digital tools like YouTube LIVE for interactive projects with learners worldwide.
As OIC in the ESL Department, trained Filipino teachers, updated the curriculum, and led an online study abroad program for 60 Japanese students with a 90% satisfaction rate.

I thoroughly enjoy lessons with Ken.
Im not a beginner student, so I do not know what it’s like learning from him as a beginner. But as an advanced student I always leave our lesson feeling better than how I started.
He challenges me and asks difficult to answer questions. We go over topics that I’m interested in, and he also seems interested in them as well.
I feel that he really cares about my improvement as a student and I’m sure he will for you too.
You can’t go wrong with having a class with him. 10/10 would recommend.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars without a doubt.

I enjoyed my first lesson with Ken. From our first lesson, I believe Ken will have a great balance of rigor and more light hearted conversation. I enjoy he had a quality microphone as well.

Between lessons, I don't always study as much as I feel I should. However, Ken focuses on my progress and allows me to go at my own pace. Lessons with Ken are always fun, engaging, and educational. I always look forward to them (especially the parts where I get to ask questions of my own)!

Ken Sensei is very friendly, fun to talk to, and relatable! Even though my confidence in my Japanese is very low, he makes it a comfortable space for me to express myself and communicate as much as possible in Japanese. A wonderful experience!
