Grown up in Berlin, accentless speaking professional German teacher with Goethe Certificate C2 Hi everybody! My name is Arkadiy, I’m a professional German teacher and live in Moscow. I grew up in Berlin and that’s why I’ve been speaking German since my childhood, in fact Hochdeutsch (Standard German) and without any regional accent. I believe actually I may call myself a German native speaker. Since 20 years I’ve been working as a Russian-German-translator at the well-known Russian news agencies TASS (2001-2010, at that time ITAR-TASS) and RIA Novosti (since 2010). And I’m a German teacher as well – now on italki! If you speak German and need a conversation practice, if you dream of studying or working in Germany, I'm the person you need. Let’s improve your German skills together! My favorite principle of teaching German is „learning by doing“. Theory is surely important, but if you want to communicate in a foreign language really well, you must be able to speak fluently. First of all I offer my students a conversation practice. Because conversation is just the way we’ll make your German step by step better. So let’s get ready for lots of speaking!
