Hi, my name is Doris and I am a native Cantonese and mandarin speaker. I hold a Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC) certificate scoring ‘二甲’(Class 2 advanced). And I had worked for the Cantonese Culture Society(at university) for 2 years. I love to do cultural communicate with friends from all over the world. I can also speak English and I am trying learning Thai now. So I am both a new language learner and a language transmitter. Hopefully, I can let you enjoy what I will share with you.
Before the pandemic, I have volunteered in a Bali primary school as an Chinese teacher and I really enjoy doing volunteer works about cultural communication.
I developed a passion for learning a new language and enjoy feeling the cultural difference by learning a language. I do know the process of learning a new language from the beginning to no ending because learning is always on the way. How I can keep my passion on learning is to find your own current achievement and keep on finding. And communicating with different friends and offering help are the two ways witnessing my results. I will make every endeavor to find the most suitable method for you to improve and enjoy ourselves.
I am focusing on daily and practical Cantonese and mandarin. I will choose some news happened in Cantonese speaking area or some hot search topics in the last few day. The materials are happening every moment and related to your life.

Doris is just amazing, she has great teaching resources at the ready - all tailor made for the lesson. She's super patient and can keep the conversation interesting and at the student's level at all times.
