Hi! My name is Chacha, and I am from the Philippines. When I am not teaching, you can either find me walking around my city taking pictures or spending time with Peanut, my little bundle of energy in a shape of a dog.
I enjoy watching movies and videos that teach me something. I love learning about other cultures and sharing mine as well.我的教學經歷
I have been helping students improve their English for 10 years. My students are often from various countries in Asia, but I'd love to expand my horizons and help learners from other countries.
I mainly cater to adult learners of all levels.
PLEASE READ THIS: Expect questions coming from me before I accept your lesson/package requests for the first time. It is a way for me to know your goals, expectations and how you would like to be corrected during the class. My teaching style depends on my students' needs and levels. Oftentimes, I use the Communicative Approach to teaching for ESL classes as it gives students more opportunity to use the words and structures they learn in real-life situations. Reviewing words, phrases, and grammar structures encountered in my previous lessons is often a part of my sessions as well. This way, it ain't easy for my students to forget them, and it also serves as a challenge.
I also have six years of experience teaching exam preparation courses like IELTS and TOEIC, so if you need help to achieve your target score, I'm here. :)我的教材

She is the best teacher whom I met. I love conversations with her. She has great knowledge about many topics and amazing ease in discussions. Usually, we start class by talking about the weather or what happened last time, but a moment later we switch to something much more interesting (psychology, history, geography, differences between places in the world, hobbies, literature, cinematography, behavior at work, architecture, politics, ...). Very often, these discussions were very deep and demanding.
