¡Hola! Hello, I’m Tom, a certified English teacher with 19 years of experience helping students master speaking, verb tenses, and fluency. Whether you’re preparing for exams, work, or daily conversations, I’ll help you speak clearly and confidently—without fear of mistakes.
As a language learner myself (currently studying Spanish in Panama!), I get the struggles you face. My lessons blend structured grammar practice with lively conversations, tailored to your goals. Let’s make learning English effective, enjoyable, and stress-free—book a lesson today!

My English accent is neutral and easy to understand. I’m from Warwickshire, England (about 20 miles from the birthplace of William Shakespeare).
My lessons focus on speaking practice, building your confidence one conversation at a time. We usually discuss a topic or work on a specific area, always with plenty of opportunities for you to speak. I’ll help you express yourself clearly and naturally. I can also support students with test preparation, presentations, and specific English skills.
I mainly teach adults and children aged 8+.
I hold teaching qualifications and a university degree, and I’ve given presentations at teaching conferences as well as delivered professional training. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are interactive, and I encourage you to speak as much as possible. I have a patient and calm teaching style, and I support you while you speak, offering corrections and feedback when needed.
I have extensive experience teaching English grammar and verb tenses, which I believe are essential for speaking clearly and accurately.
After our lesson, I’m happy to send you lesson notes and optional homework to help you continue practising.
Lessons work very well on Zoom, using the whiteboard when helpful. The italki classroom is also a great option.我的教材

I worked with refugees and international students, preparing them for exams such as IELTS and City & Guilds Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Online English TutorI have been teaching adults and children online since 2017. I have experience of teaching one-to-one and groups, from beginner level to advanced. I like teaching grammar, vocabulary and reading skills. I can do free conversations classes or specific lessons on topics of choice.

Tom is an excellent and positive teacher!
It's easy to talk to him about any topics. The lessons always have a plan, with new words for each new topic, which is very convenient. I also like that Tom writes pronunciation mistakes and we can discuss them. This way, I can make good progress :)
