I have been learning with Eva for a long time now, since August 2024, and she has played a very important role in my language learning journey. My level was already quite advanced when we started, so our lessons have focused on refining my speaking skills over time. Through regular conversations with her, I’ve become more comfortable with both casual and formal speech, different ways of expressing myself, and a wider range of colloquial expressions. This is largely thanks to her strong conversational ability and her talent for explaining things naturally across many different topics. Eva is an excellent teacher, and I highly recommend taking a lesson with her. I hope other students can gain as much from their language journey with her as I have.

Great teacher! I have been attending classes now for a few months and my understanding of Chinese is so much better than I ever thought possible. I never imagined I would be able to read Chinese characters so well or so quickly! The reason I have stayed with Eva is her teaching style and personality. She knows when I am just being lazy and pushes me to a higher level of difficulty. Yet this is done in a manner that does not feel overwhelming. She also has an excellent memory on what my weaknesses are and challenges me in every lesson to not become complacent, but to push myself to do better than I currently am. I highly recommend her as a teacher! The progress I have made under her instruction constantly amazes me and my local Chinese-speaking friends!

I have been studying with Eva for over a year at this point. I never thought it would be possible to get my Chinese to it’s current level. With a language such as Chinese it seemed daunting at first. However, her teaching style is extremely flexible so learning Chinese became manageable. I have been able to accomplish, and at the very least; better my linguistic goals for Chinese. I’ve had 6 lessons with Eva so far. I’m at an intermediate Chinese level and Eva is able to keep classes engaging and continuously challenging with her chosen learning materials. She’s also patient when I need time to decipher some tougher sentences on my own rather than jumping in immediately to help. Eva’s friendly and energetic, and she’ll readily adapt the classes to your preferences.

Teacher Eva is one of the best teachers on my way to fluent Chinese. She’s calm, patient and encouraging. These features are super important for the beginner like I am. During the class we talk mostly in Chinese despite my HSK 1 level. That makes me memorize more from her as well as express myself in the new language.
