Hi! My name is Vivian, and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Athens, Greece. I'm 28 years old and currently studying Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. I love traveling, learning about different cultures, and meeting new people. In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing the guitar, and performing live music at gigs. Let’s get to know each other while you learn Greek in a fun way!

As a native Greek speaker, I’m here to help you practice and improve your Greek through fun and engaging conversations. I have been using italki as a student for learning Japanese, so I know first-hand how much the right teacher can help you improve! As a teacher my goal is to make you feel less overwhelmed by learning a new language and focus on a steady progress. My approach is simple and flexible.
On each lesson I can teach you new vocabulary and phrases and help you correct any mistakes.We can tailor the lesson for your specific needs.
We can also just have casual conversations about any topic that interests you, from everyday life to hobbies and more!

I've had several lessons with Vivian now, and I can highly recommend her. She is a fun and engaging teacher with the ability to draw from knowledge of etymology and Ancient Greek to help the learning process. She is responsive to my requests to learn particular things, and she's always encouraging, even when I butcher the grammar. Thirty minutes flies by!
