Hi everyone! This is Karen from Guangzhou, China. Guangzhou is a city full of history and diversity. As a Cantonese who was born and grew up in Guangzhou, I'm very interested in language learning and teaching. I can speak Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese as my mother tongues, fluent English, and some Japanese and Thai language. In my spare time, I like cooking, hiking and ballet. I have been a Chinese teaching volunteer for overseas students at college for 4 years and a tutor in a language training institution for kids for 3 years. I have made friends from Thailand, Pakistan, Equatorial Guinea, etc. I also organized and participated in some cross-cultural events like visiting local attraction, making paper cuttings and introducing “Yum Cha” culture of Guangdong. The experience really helps me have better understanding of different cultures.我的課程內容與教學風格
I bring systematized and careful explanation in my lesson. Meanwhile I have specific teaching plans for different students. Holding the teaching concept that “Interest is the best teacher”, I am confident that I can make you grow to like my country or my city in my lesson by showing you the real life, delicious food, popular city, internet buzzwords, and film, etc.我的教材
