Paula is an outstanding teacher. It is clear from all of her materials that she takes a great deal of pleasure in sharing the Galician language with others. She is a natural in the classroom: patient, encouraging and always respectful of the student's own aims and goals. I am continually impressed by the sheer amount of resources that Paula has created. To me, this speaks both to her understanding of students different learning styles, and her determination to be an inclusive teacher. I always look forward to my classes with Paula and I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about studying Galician.

As someone who can perfectly understand Galician but had never tried to utter a sentence before, I couldn't be more lucky than meeting Luis for my first conversation ever! He put me at ease, gave me precise and kind feedback, picked relevant themes to talk about based on what I had told him about me in my presentation message on italki. Overall a very organized tutor, easy to talk to. Made me feel I can do this, altough I know it'll take time. :) Very happy with how it went and will book more classes.

Beatriz was extremely patient and encouraging! Signing up to learn a new language can be intimidating, especially for someone more introverted, but Beatriz is easy going and does a great job making the lesson comfortable (the 30 minutes passed quickly!). She took the time to learn my goals and interest with learning a new language, had a well organized lesson, and presented several resources to help me get started with self-directed study.

Gonzalo is an awesome teacher! I'm learning Spanish and Galician with him. He is very professional, but also fun and interesting. He values your input for what you'd like to get from a class, but is clearly very experienced and has no problems guiding the class so that you get the most out of it. His feedback is really helpful and constructive, and he is really effective at making you feel comfortable enough to speak a lot and make mistakes/ ask questions without feeling embarrassed. I feel like I'm learning a lot, and the classes are fun, so I look forward to them each week. His English is also impeccable. 10/10 would recommend:)

Estevam is a brilliant and outrageously knowledgeable teacher. In a matter of minutes, he was able to assess my proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish. Estevam then incorporated my familiarity with both languages to teach me a tremendous amount about Galician in a short amount of time. Our lesson weaved in and out of several languages to get across linguistic ideas and nuances with regards to the Galician language, perfectly tailored to me. I cannot recommend Estevam as a teacher enough. I was absolutely blown away and will be taking more classes.

Learning with Claudia has been a great experience. She makes appropriate corrections, and her explanations are very clear be it in Spanish or Gallego. She would give me quick and precise meanings, even hard-to-translate idioms and phrases. Intelligent, interesting, Claudia has a wealth of knowledge on Spanish history and current events. Xosè is a super cool teacher - he adapts in a matter of minutes to your level of Spanish, he has a dynamic teaching style allowing you to talk but also to fine-tune your Spanish. Recommended! :)

Unha aula de Galego xenial! Estamos a preparar vocabulario novo, depois lemos um novo conto, despois eu explico o conteúdo. Finalmente Santi e eu facemos reflexións e connexións coas nosas vidas. Graziñas, Profe!! Gustame-me moito esta aula de galego!!!

I enjoyed my lesson with Cristina. She had prepared the materials beforehand -as agreed- and was very professional and friendly the whole time. She totally adapted to my specific needs. I recommend her.
