What you have to do is just hearing Japanese language a lot, like podcasts, movies, animes, music,YouTube videos etc... and speak it . I believe that helps you to pick up words and sentence structures naturally. And you can also pick up native terms from it as well. That will help you speaking Japanese a lot. We all can learn as many languages as we want, but we should learn in natural way, like any child learns his mother tongue. As adults we frequently try to learn a new language in ways that are just not conductive. Dry repetition and memorization don’t help. A language is much more than words, a new language is like a new life. Japanese is a fascinating language of a fascinating country. I use Genki 1 for Beginners course, Genki 2 for Intermediate 1 course, An Integrated Approach to Intermediate Japanese and Tobira for Intermediate 2 course. For advanced students, the lesson material can be arranged as you please, such as news articles and books. For Beginners to Intermediate 2 course, we will mainly use textbook as well as worksheets and PowerPoint Presentation during the class. At the end of each lesson, I give some homework mainly from the workbook. I sometimes send a worksheet for homework, too. You can complete your homework in your own time and we will check answers in the following lesson.
