I have been taking Marathi lessons with Praful for almost a year now, and I can confidently say that he is an excellent teacher. Praful is diligent, trustworthy, and patient. You will not have to worry about getting lost as Praful adjusts the lessons to your speed. Praful is great at explaining complex Marathi grammar clearly and simply, breaking each concept into manageable pieces. This makes the learning process easy and rewarding. Praful has written a lot of his own material which is great for revising outside of lessons. He also provides regular homework assignments and tests which are invaluable for tracking my progress and helping me practice the concepts we studied. Praful’s engaging teaching style has kept me motivated and consistent with learning Marathi. This has finally allowed me to see the progress I had been looking for. So if you want to take your Marathi to the next level, I highly recommend taking lessons with Praful.

I have been studying Marathi with Urvi for a little over six months. She is a very patient and caring teacher. My partner’s family speaks Marathi and I have been learning to be able to understand and communicate better with them. She has personalized our lessons with those goals in mind. She takes her time to ensure I’m understanding each concept before moving to the next. Her lessons build on one another and she will assign “homework” so there is some structure and practice outside of lessons. She has an amazing grasp on many languages and linguistics as a whole so can provide a lot of context when learning new pronunciation and grammatical structures. After six months, I feel confident putting together complex sentences, have learned a lot of vocabulary, and know the alphabet. If you’re going to partner with Urvi for language lessons, I would recommend getting a notebook and practicing for an hour or two outside of your weekly classes.

I have tried 4 Marathi teachers, and Vaibhavi is the best of them all. She’s adjusts her lessons based on your needs and feedback. For beginners, she prepares a more structured lesson plan and for more intermediates, she’s happy to have a more open ended conversation and correct vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar all on a document. From experience, I can say this mixture is rare. My past teachers have either been too rigid and highly egoistic to think about adjusting their lesson plan or methods based on feedback (I’m talking to you Praful), or are not prepared / not providing corrections. I would highly recommend Vaibhavi!

In my trial lesson Shrujan used an animated kids video in Marathi to judge my skill level. I really appreciated that the language in the video was close to my level so that I could understand quite a lot. Then we wrote a short story about 3 birds. Shrujan helped me with the vocabulary I didn't know but let me take the lead in formulating the sentences. For me it was also really great to receive positive feedback when I successfully made a sentence or corrected one of my own mistakes.

With Elisha's coaching my son has improved in both spoken Hindi and Marathi. Elisha is knowledgeable, patient, engaging and the study material provided by her is relevant. She adapts the class based on how my son is performing. My son enjoys the class and i am glad to hear him speak more in both Hindi and Marathi.

I surprised myself with how much Marathi I could understand. The teacher explained the next steps clearly and showed that these methods actually work.

This class was wonderful! We went over some prepositional phrases as well as the present progressive tense.

Darshan is a friendly teacher and he made me feel comfortable during our first class! He tried to learn more about my background and my goals. He also gave me some useful tips to improve my fluency. I'll be happy to continue our sessions together!

Mayuri is an excellent teachers for learning Marathi. She is organized with weekly lesson plans, encouraging and offers very personalized instruction and guidance. She is also very patient. I’m amazed how much my kids have learned with Mayuri. One of the best teachers! Highly recc. Five stars without question!

Radhika was so friendly and understanding. She spoke very clearly and gave me the right amount of tools from our first session so I have something to work on for next time, but don't feel too overwhelmed.
