Professor Zoraida is energetic, funny, and very creative in her lessons. Her classes are always fun and engaging, which makes learning Spanish enjoyable. In just a few months, I’ve noticed a lot of progress: I speak Spanish much more easily and fluently, and I’m able to use many more words in each sentence. Her lessons are motivating and have really helped me improve my Spanish!

She is a very cheerful and engaging teacher. During the trial lesson, she assesses your current level of fluency and works with you to create a plan for your learning. Most classes include role-playing exercises that push you to speak, think in Spanish, and build confidence using the language. You are going to talk A LOT in her class! What I appreciate most is how structured the lessons are: each class builds on the previous one, so the exercises never feel random or disconnected. The activities can challenge you and push you outside your comfort zone, but her personality and demeanor make it easy to relax, take risks, and not be afraid of making mistakes. Jarenny is my favorite spanish teacher I have ever had. As someone who has been stuck for a while at the same level, I feel like Jarenny is leveling up my fluency and getting me over the hump of translating what I know into what I can say. She extremely engaging and patient and makes every lesson feel comfortable and fun. The time flies!

Another great lesson with Yohenia! She is constantly helping me improve my Spanish in ways that I wouldn't thought of. Today, we practiced role-playing various real-life scenarios to improve my vocabulary and usage of certain grammatical concepts. I already feel like I understand these concepts much better than before because Yohenia emphasizes using new grammatical structures and vocabulary naturally. Muchas gracias Yohenia!

I had a great Spanish lesson with Solansh. We learned how to compare objects and how to use the verb Ser and the difference between Esta and Es. She explained everything in an easy to understand way and she was very supportive and encouraging.

I have greatly enjoyed taking lessons with Andrea and I've learned so much already in just a few weeks! I highly recommend her for anybody thinking about learning Spanish! She is incredibly patient and kind, and she makes me feel very comfortable to try things out and make mistakes. The lessons feel like having a good chat with a friend, and you get to learn so much about the Mexican culture & dialect while learning the language itself. I am always looking forward to the next class!

I've been taking weekly Spanish classes with Lau for four years. She has helped me tremendously in all aspects of my Spanish. Her warm personality and passion for teaching made her class a fun, enriching experience. She always adapts to the student's needs, but at the same time challenges the student to aim high. Her emphasis not only on language but also on culture and society opened doors and inspired new curiosity. For anyone who's taking on the challenge of learning Spanish, I cannot recommend Lau highly enough.

Leaving the Duolingo green owl behind and finding Maria was the best decision I've made for my Spanish. Around 6 months in, I've gone from feeling embarrassed speaking to holding full conversations for an hour without freezing up. Maria is patient and creates an environment where you're completely comfortable making mistakes. She's great at explaining grammar, answering questions, and always recommends the best resources to keep improving outside the lessons. I really noticed the difference on a recent trip to Budapest with Spanish speaking friends. I spent the whole weekend speaking Spanish, and even a few people I met told me, "You can tell you learned from an Argentine teacher." That was probably the best compliment I could've received, and the clearest proof the lessons work. A great teacher and, beyond that, a wonderful person. Undoubtedly the Lionel Messi of italki. Can't recommend her enough.

I’ve been learning Spanish with Gabriela and she’s honestly been fantastic. She’s really easy to talk to, patient, helpful and always makes the lessons feel relaxed rather than like a classroom. She’s helped me a lot throughout my Spanish journey, especially with building confidence and actually using the language in real conversations. I always enjoy our lessons and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great Spanish teacher.
