After 29 lessons (90 mins each), it was time to leave a proper review. It took us about 5 sessions to get into our groove and adjust to my learning style, but sticking with it was the best decision! I prefer visual learning over text memorization, and Bam adapted brilliantly. She uses great images to make concepts intuitive and guides me through learning to read Thai with immense patience. Thai is my 5th language and a tough nut to crack. During a trip to Thailand, her advice was invaluable: she gave practical tips, explained cultural nuances, and taught me about local food. The real-world results were fantastic: I chatted with taxi drivers in Bangkok, and even deciphered dishes in Thai script on menus—like ข้าวกะเพราไก่ไข่ดาว (Khao Pad Krapow Kai Dao) or ไส้กรอกอีสาน (Sai Krok Isan)! At food stalls, I could ask for less chili, order a second portion, and compliment the cook. I am very grateful for our sessions and will certainly continue learning with her. Highly recommended! 🙏

I've had around 25 lessons with Attrija now and am pleased to say that my Thai has improved a lot as a result. She is a dynamic teacher who can tailor classes to your ability and needs, and uses a variety of teaching methods which helps to keep the learning interesting and applicable. I found the fact she isn't a native thai teacher a bonus in some ways, as she understands what it's like to try to learn this language, and can provide advice on things which helped her become as fluent as she is now. I'd highly recommend her to anyone wanting to lean Thai.

Khruu Look Kaew has been a very big help to me. In just 4-months she has helped me go from zero [knowing nothing] to starting to feel like I can begin to talk naturally with real Thai people, in real life. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning with Panita and have learned so much during our lessons together. Her lessons are always well structured, combining free conversation with focused learning. She is diligent about correcting mistakes and introducing new vocabulary, providing notes in real time that can be reviewed at the end of each lesson. I now feel much more confident using Thai and am excited to put what I've learned into practice on my upcoming trip to Thailand. If you're serious about learning Thai, I would definitely recommend choosing Panita as your teacher.

Iana is an excellent teacher! I've had a few sessions so far and am noticing progress already in my speaking ability. She helped guide me through what I'd like from lessons and quickly tailored sessions to help with my goals. I've found that she has a great ability to balance challenge and encouragement, as well as levity to help keep a lovely pace to sessions. Looking forward to more learning and would highly recommend Iana for learners of any level :)

Very good Thai lesson on italki. Teacher explains clearly, is friendly, and very patient. Especially helpful: she speaks German and English, so everything was easy to understand. The lesson was pleasant, well structured, and motivating. I would definitely recommend her. Sehr gute Thai-Unterrichtsstunde auf italki. Lehrerin erklärt klar, freundlich und sehr geduldig. Besonders hilfreich: Sie spricht Deutsch und Englisch, dadurch war alles leicht verständlich. Unterricht angenehm, strukturiert und motivierend. Würde ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Tata has been an amazing teacher. She’s helped me decide on a clear path for achieving success in Thai. Every session we work closer to my goals. She always finds ways to make lessons relevant to my interests. Every class is organized, structured, and productive, but it never feels boring. I’m really happy with my progress so far and she’s always making sure to check the pace of our classes if things are going too fast or too slow. She’s been helping me develop a strong foundation in the language. She is happy to change her material to what you want to focus on and can pick up on what style of learning will help you the most. What stands out the most to me is how invested she is in my progress. She’s invested in making sure you succeeded while being encouraging where it counts. She remembers what we’ve worked on, comes prepared every lesson, and genuinely wants to help me improve. If you’re serious about learning Thai, I highly recommend studying with Kru Tata!

Kru Bowie is an amazing teacher! I’m doing the reading & writing course and you can tell she’s an experienced professional, her curriculum is progressive and systematic and she knows exactly how to teach the Thai alphabet. Bank is absolutely amazing. I have been studying with her for over two years now and Bank is one of my favorite teachers on italki. She always has such sweet energy, she has tons of different ways to learn Thai, and she’s always cheerleaded me on in ways that really inspired me to keep going on this language journey. Definitely schedule a lesson with her - she’s wonderful!

I really enjoyed this class!!! It was honestly so much fun and such a great experience. I think one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much is that we share similar interests, and those interests were naturally incorporated into the lesson, which made everything feel more engaging and exciting. What I appreciated the most was how attentive and caring the teacher was throughout the class. Greek constantly checked whether I understood the material and made sure I felt comfortable, which made a big difference for me. Before this, I thought I already knew Thai to a certain extent, but I wasn’t really sure how to take it to the next level or what direction to follow. After meeting Greek, I feel like I’ve found a new motivation and a clearer path. I’m now genuinely excited to continue learning Thai in a more enjoyable and meaningful way. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming classes!
