When I was a kid, all the books around me were written by Chinese. I absorbed all the knowledges about Chinese culture. When I grew up, I heard many interesting foreign history storyies. I deeply appealed to their cultures. I wanted to know more about the whole world. But about 80% books around the world were written by English. All the books translated into your native language, maybe can't repressed the opinions of the authors well. So, if we are good at English , we can directly read the original editions well. Meanwhile, for the foreign friends, who really like Chinese culture, we can translate Chinese into English. We live on this charming planet, we are family. When we meet each other, the first thing is to take a conversation with any topics. English is definitely the tool to help us to know each other well nowadays, but I hope Chinese can replace English sometime.

Mostly overcast, the sky darkened abruptly this morning, a brief storm rattling the windows. Having Dad help me, I drilled grammar relentlessly, the absolute construction being my focus. I found the rules infuriatingly arbitrary. For hours, I sat hunched over the book, my head a tangled mess, my patience a flattened sack. Later, Mom came in brilliantly, her hands brandishing a slim package. My new high-end earpods had arrived! Pink, absolutely —inside and out— they lay nestled in a box embossed with a delicate floral fairy. Setup complete in minutes, the earpods worked wonders. They’ve become an instant refuge from our noisy routine, the world effectively silenced. Mom shouting mere inches away, not a sound would reach me. Only my selective music playing, the peace was absolute. What a wonderful product!
