Catching COVID-19 was an incredibly exhausting and painful experience. It began with a mild headache, but the virus quickly took over my entire body.The worst part was the extreme fatigue and intense body aches. Every muscle felt bruised, making it difficult to even move in bed. I suffered from a high fever, severe chills, and a heavy chest. A persistent, dry cough kept me awake for nights. Eating became completely pointless because I lost my sense of taste and smell entirely; everything tasted like nothing.The physical pain was bad, but isolation was also mentally tough. Staying locked in one room and worrying about my health caused a lot of anxiety. It was a miserable experience.
