I was only 18 when I had my first class as an English teacher and at the age of 16, I taught Farsi to my British classmate. Since then, I have always tried to develop confident and culturally fluent English/Persian speakers who can successfully navigate the social, travel, and business situations that they will encounter in their lives. The best part about teaching is to see students making progress in their language skills with your support. It is also important for me to create an ambience where my students feel at ease during the lessons.

Before I started teaching Persian, I worked as a mathematics teacher, where I learned two key elements for creating a great and productive class: first, having strong knowledge and a logical progression of learning materials; and second, fostering a comfortable atmosphere where students feel free to make mistakes—because without mistakes, growth isn’t possible. I have been teaching Persian for over three years now and have thoroughly enjoyed this journey with my students. So far, I believe I’ve successfully applied these two key principles. 🤭😌😁

I've been (& am!) through this journey a few times myself, and think I'm well aware of the ups and downs of it and that with a little bit of try and creativity, it always leads us to wonderful places.
