- Numero consistente = numero significativo 

- Impiegarci = metterci 
Esempio: Prima ci impiegavo/ci mettevo 50 minuti per arrivare al lavoro. 

- Rispondere di pancia = rispondere istintivamente, senza pensarci troppo

- Sommozzatore = diver

- Soccorso = rescue

- Nozioni basiche/basilari/base = basic knowledge 

- Lasciare il certo per l’incerto = leaving the certain for the uncertain

- Ben venga! = meglio ancora!
Esempio: Mi va bene lavorare 8 ore al giorno, se però posso lavorare anche meno... ben venga!
