每周都有七天：星期一，星期二，星期三，星期四，星期五，星期六和星期天。
Měi zhōu dōu yǒu qī tiān: xīngqī yī, xīngqī èr, xīngqī sān, xīngqī sì, xīngqī wǔ, xīngqī liù hé xīngqī tiān。
There are seven days in one week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

我哥哥每周工作五天。
Wǒ gēge měi zhōu gōngzuò wǔ tiān。
My elder brother works five days a week. 

星期一到星期五，他每天七点半起床，8点出门，8点30分到公司。
Xīngqī yī dào xīngqī wǔ, tā měitiān qī diǎn bàn qǐ chuáng, bā diǎn chū mén, bā diǎn sān shí dào gōngsī.
From Monday to Friday, he gets up on half past seven, eight o'clock go to work, and 8:30 arrives at the company. 

下午5点一刻下班，晚上11点睡觉。
Xiàwǔ wǔ diǎn yī kè xiàbiān, wǎnshang shí yī diǎn shuìjiào。
Getting off work on 5:15pm, and goes to bed on 11pm. 

星期六和星期天都是他的休息日，他常常与朋友见面，吃饭，聊天儿，放松放松。
Xīngqī liù hé xīngqī tiān dōu shì tā de xiūxi rì, tā chángcháng yǔ péngyǒu jiànmiàn, chīfàn,liáotiānr，fàngsōng fàngsōng。
Both Saturday and Sunday are his holiday. He usually meets his friends, have lunch, chats, and   relax.

LINDA: Yeah, sure! Come over around 10:00, after breakfast.
FRANK: All right. I’ll bring my notes.



LANGUAGE NOTES
• Hey! is a friendly expression meaning “hello.”
• How did your physics exam go? is a way of saying “How was your physics exam?”
• I’m just glad … Notice the stress on “glad.” “Just” is used for emphasis before an 
adjective here.
• How about you … Notice the intonation falls here because the speaker is going to 
follow it up with a detailed question.
• How’d your presentation … Notice the contraction for “How did” sounds like /howdj/ 
and “your” sounds like /yer/.
• Do you feel like here has the meaning of “do you want to.” Notice “do you feel like” is 
followed by an “-ing” verb (studying).
• Come over here has the meaning of “come to my house.”

Aquí un buen consejo, es algo que yo hago, cuando me siento triste, tomo algunos minutos jaja…o a veces cuando lo necesito urgentemente, tomo un par de horas para pensar mi vida y soñar un poco, soñar con que soy más feliz y que las personas que me rodean son más felices y que la humanidad en sí es más feliz.
Eso es sanador. Pero no se puede quedar allí. Porque si no despiertas y te das cuenta que tu realidad y lo que soñaste pues…son cosas muy distintas.
Así que…sí, soñar es sanador, pero…lo que yo diría que sana más es el buscar un camino para SER y estar en el mundo de la forma que tú ves en tus sueños.
Así que…ármate un plan, un plan sobre cómo hacer más corta la distancia entre eso que sueñas y tu realidad actual. Eso es lo sanador. También, obvio, sueña cosas positivas para ti y para todos los que te rodean y sé consciente que hay cosas que sí puedes cambiar y otras que no.
