Ouistiti et les balayeurs
Le papa de Ouistiti fait des cadres pour des tableaux. Un jour, il annonce:
- Ce matin, j'ai eu beaucoup de travail. Tant mieux! Plus j'ai de travail et plus je gagne de l'argent!
Cette réflexion rend Ouistiti songeur. Après le déjeuner, le petit singe sort dans la rue. Deux balayures nettoient le trottoir. Mais ils n'ont pas grand-chose à balayer! Ouistiti a une idée. Il court dans la cuisine, prends la poubelle et la vide sur le trottoir! Puis il dit au balayeur médusé:
- Comme ça, vous aurez plein de travail et vous gagnerez beaucoup d'argent!

As a beginner, there're some vocabularies that you didn't learn before, and native speaker's speed seems too fast to understand. But don't worry, let's do it step by step. 
1st time: listen and catch the words you know already, have a guess about the content.
2nd time: look at the text to check if you guessed it right. 
3rd time: listen one more time, repeat after it.
4th time: practice until you can speak as the normal speed without looking at the text.

小时候妈妈问我：“你长大后要做什么？”
xiǎo shí hòu mā ma wèn wǒ ：“ nǐ zhǎng dà hòu yào zuò shén me ？”
When I was a child, my mother asked me, "What do you want to do when you grow up?"
我说：“我以后想当老师。”
wǒ shuō ：“ wǒ yǐ hòu xiǎng dāng lǎo shī 。”
I said, "I want to be a teacher in the future."
现在我是一名老师。
xiàn zài wǒ shì yì míng lǎo shī 。
Now I am a teacher.
我在学校工作。
wǒ zài xué xiào gōng zuò 。
I work at school.
我工作8年了。
wǒ gōng zuò bā nián le 。
I have been working for 8 years.
有时候我的工作很忙，忙得连喝水的时间都没有。
yǒu shí hòu wǒ de gōng zuò hěn máng ， máng de lián hē shuǐ de shí jiān dōu méi yǒu 。
Sometimes my work is so busy that I don't even have time to drink water.
我喜欢我的工作，因为很有意思。
wǒ xǐ huān wǒ de gōng zuò ， yīn wèi hěn yǒu yì sī 。
I like my job because it's fun.

はい、こんにちは。今回はポッドキャストの26回目です。すっかり暑くなりました。最近は雨の日が多いですが、気温は高く、毎日Tシャツを着ています。今年も大阪は、いきなり暑くなったので、春はあまり感じられませんでした。記事の下書きもようやく終わりました。昨日は知り合いに誘われたので、二時間だけクラブに行きました。ああいう場所は招待で入ると無料なのでいいですね。知り合いの人はDJをやっています。

Hello. This is episode 26 of my podcast. It is nearly summer and it is hot everyday. It's been raining a lot lately, but the temperature is high and I wear a T-shirt everyday. This year, the temperature in Osaka increased suddenly, so I didn't feel like there was a spring. I have finally finished drafting my article. Yesterday I went to a club for two hours because someone I met online invited me. Places like that are nice because it's free if you enter by invitation. That person is a DJ.

あと、昨日は歯医者に行きました。ようやく、矯正している歯が動いてきました。7月ぐらいには終わるだろうと言われました。矯正は、ブラケットをつけるだけで終わると思っていましたが、実際は、何回も歯医者に行かなければいけません。歯医者に行って、ワイヤーを取り替えたり、歯を削ったりします。

Also, I went to the dentist yesterday. Finally, the teeth I'm having straightened have started to become straighter, and the dentist told me it should be done by about July. I thought the braces would be done just by putting the brackets on, but in fact I have to go to the dentist several times. I have to go to the dentist to get the wires changed, and to have my teeth ground.

日本の歯医者はほとんど民営です。「民営」とは、国ではなく、個人がしているビジネスのことです。国がしているビジネスは「国営」といいます。たとえば、日本の郵便局は国営でしたが、2007年に民営になりました。歯医者は民営ですが、国の保険が使えます。日本には国民保険があり、治療費は3割しか払わなくていいです。70歳以上は2割、75歳以上は1割です。無料ではありませんが、安いです。でも、矯正は保険が使えません。
