The blossoms were so beautiful that my school became a tourist attraction because of it. Then, it suddenly occurred to me for the first time that I had never seen them produce any cherries. Isn’t it curious? Cherry fruit has been very popular in the Spring Festival season in recent years. They are mostly imported from South America, so the price is relatively high. Why don’t most of cherry trees here in my country grow fruits? Are they just flowering ornamental trees not fruiting ones?

Your writing is very good. Here are a few extra thoughts. "because of them" is grammatically correct, but seems unnecessary. Unless "banquet" is a special gardening word that I don't know, I think "garden" is the word you want. I hope that is helpful!
