Is 'factory night view' the right way to say it?
Can I use it in everyday conversation?
I just went to see a factory nightscape (photo attached).
The factory lights were really beautiful!
In Japan, some people enjoy checking out factory night views.
Thank you!

Often times with English it’s less about what is right and wrong and more about preference. You can definitely say “factory night view.”
For myself, I would probably say “night view of a factory”
Both are correct, let me know if that helps!

"Factory night view" is understandable, but it’s not the most natural phrase in everyday
English. A more natural way to say it would be:
* "Factory nightscape" (a bit formal, often used in photography or tourism)
* "Factory skyline at night" (if referring to a wide view with multiple factories)
* "Factory lights at night" (more conversational)
For your sentence in a casual conversation, you could say:
➡ "I just went to see a factory nightscape. The lights were really beautiful! In Japan, some people enjoy checking out factory night views."
Or, if you want a more natural flow:
➡ "I just went to see a factory at night—the lights were beautiful! In Japan, some people love watching factory nightscapes."

The factory lights were really beautiful!
In Japan, some people enjoy checking out factory nightscapes at night.
Explanation & Tip:
- "Factory night view" sounds unnatural. Instead, use "factory nightscape" or "factory night view" (but "nightscape" is more common for scenic descriptions).
- "At night" at the end of the last sentence clarifies when people enjoy the view.
- In casual conversation, "factory lights at night" might be more natural than "factory nightscape."
