I have a question. Are the following sentences natural expressions? 1. I often go for a drive to clear my head. 2. I often go for a drive to refresh myself. 3. I often go for a drive to take a break from work. Thank you!

Well, I often go for a drive to clear my head, and maybe to take a break. But 'to refresh myself'? I wouldn't say that. It is certainly possible, and grammatically correct, but it sounds rather... formal. No, formal is not quite the word. It sounds too polite? Unnatural? No, they are not quite the words either. It sounds like something somebody would say, but not me! Maybe it sounds like an advert on TV. Want to refresh yourself? Why not try our new minty-flavour soda-pop drink! Hmmm?

Hi Kevin! 1. I often go for a drive to clear my head. ✅ 2. I often go for a drive to refresh myself. ❌ 3. I often go for a drive to take a break from work. ✅ Number 3 is not very environmentally friendly but is a good sentence haha! I would normally drink a nice cold beer/soft drink to refresh myself.
