Wonderful Pub Experience at Full Monty British Pub & Cider House 4th Jun. 2022 It was another sunny day. I embraced the nice spring feeling before getting into the rainy season, ‘Tsuyu’. I was done with my usual Saturday work at noon. I had nothing to rush home, so I decided to head for Yokohama to visit a British pub that I've always wanted to go to. As the pub opens at 3 pm, I had too much time on my hand and hung around the station nearby. Then I came across a busker in front of the station and his performance drew me in for a while. As soon as I went into the pub, an array of ciders caught my eyes, which was mind-blowing. One of the owners, Kae, who is also an importer of cider, recommended Harry’s dry cider, so I gave it a go. For a meal, I ordered bangers and mash. Nothing can beat their fine cider and hearty pub grub. I thoroughly enjoyed the real pub atmosphere. What made my pub experience there special was meeting a hilarious Japanese man who came with his German pals. He seemed to be really good with people and be excellent at joking. He ruined my chill time, but in a good way. I had a good laugh. It's safe to say that it's a must-visit place if you pass through Yokohama. Even if you are far from Yokohama, it’s still worth travelling for the authentic British pub experience. ----- I'd really appreciate it if anyone would correct my writing or give me alternatives that sound more natural to native English speakers. If not, just let me know your thoughts! Either way, thank you for reading my journal!

*Using "as" is correct, but it's kind of formal in my opinion. If you're writing a journal, it's more casual to say "since (the pub opens at 3pm) // **You technically only put a comma before "but" if there are independent clauses before and after "but". Even native English speakers don't know this, so it's not too big of a deal, but you seem like someone who likes the fine points of language so I thought you might like to know
