We usually wear new dresses, get together with our families to coke and eat dumplings，and visit our relatives and friends to celebrate the new year. The most important thing in Chinese New Year is to lay down the misfortunes in the past and restore the hope for the future. Absolutely，New Year is a good chance for a new beginning.

In my country Japan, we eat soba. It's Japanese noodles. We call this "Toshikoshi soba". Also I think most of people watch TV. I always watch "Kouhaku". It's a music program and we can know whose songs were the popular in that year. Some people goes temple in the night. They rang the big bell. In the new year day I went to beach and saw a first sunrise! It was beautiful but the temperature was so cold.lol

I think the real celebration takes place on the social media.messaging and wishing everyone of contact list and posting pictures of the celebration and status etc..

En mi cultura celebramos el Año Nuevo como Navidad. Ponemos un Christmas Tree y decoramos el árbol. En diciembre 31 cocinamos mucho, mucho comida y tenemos una fiesta que occura todo el noche! Muchos tragos y comida muy deliciousa. Por ejemplo pimientos rellenos, ensaladas diferentes (en particular ensalada que se llama “Olivie”) mucho carne, carne de barbecue “shish kebab”, carnitas con papas, chuletas de pollo y cerda, una plato famosa que se llama “seledka pod shubai” que significa pez debajo de abrigo de piel. Este sona muy gracioso en español pero que lo que es justo pescado en capas con verduras hervidos y mayonesa. También hacemos muchas pastelitos! Tortas, galletas, y dulces. Celebramos el Año Nuevo técnicamente dos dias, el diciembre 31 y enero 1, a veces incluso más días! En enero 1 recibimos los regalos debajo de Christmas tree! Este holiday para nos es como navidad y Año Nuevo juntos pero celebramos solo uno tiempo en diciembre 31-enero 1! Algún personas celebran ambos Navidad en diciembre 25 y también Año Nuevo por separado pero generalmente mayorita de gente justo celebran Año Nuevo. El Año Nuevo es la fiesta más grande y divertida de todo el año!🥳🎄🎉🎁🎊

En la corea nosotros celebramos el año nuevo con la familia, os noivos o os amigos. En este momento, hace mucho frio. Pero depertamos temprano en la madrugada y subimos para la montaña o cerro para ver amanecer. Cuando sale el sol, la gente pide un deseo que quiere realizar en este año.
