Rumeysaa Kaya

I had a wonderful experience learning with Rumeysaa. She was incredibly patient and honest when answering my questions about her religion, which I really appreciated. Her openness created a comfortable and respectful learning environment, and I felt encouraged to ask anything on my mind. In addition to this, she taught me some basic Turkish in a clear and engaging way. Her teaching style is easy to follow, and she made sure to adapt the lessons to my pace and interests. Rumeysaa is a wonderful teacher! Her teaching style is more open ended than your typical 'classroom-style' instruction, but this is incredibly valuable because you get much more Turkish conversation practice rather than endlessly discussing grammatical rules in English. Rumeysaa teaches in a relaxed conversational style, which I really like. I think my Turkish will improve a lot now that I started taking classes with her. In the past I have been taught mostly Turkish grammar and basic vocabulary, so it's the right time for me to start taking my Turkish to the next level with regular conversational practice.

The links to the video call did not work and I gave up after half of my thirty minute class had already expired. The teacher reports this is normal for Italki so how can I blame her. A waste of both of our time and my money.
