Hello! My name is Rosie and I am a native Estonian language speaker. Currently I am travelling in Asia for a year with my English partner Rob. Over the past 24 years, I have been to 25 countries, plus lived in 2 of them (United Kingdom and United States).
Studying and working in England for 4,5 years has given me a comprehensive British English practice. I finished a BA degree in Fashion Styling & Creative Direction in the UK which makes me a perfect mentor/teacher for those applying for an art-related course or who need advice with the application process.
Interests:
* photography (analogue & digital)
* graphic design
* yoga/ meditation
* art museums
* upcycling
* reading
Ich als Lehrkraft
Don’t forget, these are YOUR lessons so feel free to ask advice about anything you desire. If we keep talking and having a conversation, you’ll learn new phrases and sayings in no time. I will be your language teacher, best friend or whomever you need me to be that day. A carefree and friendly environment is what we are going for, only positive and happy vibes.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My lessons are going to be mainly conversational, available for both beginners and advanced-level students. The structure of my classes is split into 4 parts: talking, reading, listening and analyzing written homework. Every student is different hence why I am flexible and will tailor my lessons based on your level and needs.
A trial lesson is a time for me to learn what is your goal on studying Estonian, and a good chance to get to know each other. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you’ve got additional questions or if you’d like to book a slot that is not available on the timetable :)

Bachelors of Art - Solent University - 2021This was a 3-year-long BA course on Fashion Styling & Creative Direction. I acquired this degree in England, in Southampton. The course involved a lot of photography, graphic design, working with multiple creatives and coming up with conceptual art projects.
Rosie is a fantastic teacher! I always really look forward to our lessons because she makes learning Estonian feel fun and not like a chore. I like that she assigns different types of homework - like watching shows, writing sentences, translating etc. And her lessons are always structured well with time to practice speaking about interesting topics and a lesson on vocabulary or grammar. After only a few lessons with Rosie, I feel much more confident in my Estonian and am not afraid to speak or write to someone.

Thank you for urging me back to Estonian when I slide into English! And thank you for writing down the words! Super useful, I can feel how my passive vocabulary is little by little turning into active!
