Ezgi

Ezgi is an excellent tutor. She is always punctual connecting to the lesson. She has always prepared material for us and this is tailored to our needs and language ability. She encourages us to experiment with the language, correcting our mistakes with grace and humour and without making us feel in any way embarrassed.

Excellent lesson as always! Ezgi is always well prepared and targeted to my specific language learning needs. She is thorough and professional. I feel I am learning so much!

In recent lessons Ezgi has given me either a video to watch or an article to read ahead of the lesson. During the lesson we discuss the material using questions she has prepared as a framework. I generally struggle to notice my own progress, but even I can now see that, little by little thanks to her patient instruction I am using more varied language and making fewer basic grammatical errors. She is an excellent teacher. Thank you Ezgi :-)

Ezgi's lessons are always great, but today's hour went by especially quickly. I really enjoy starting out with a reading that I have been able to prepare. Focusing on pronunciation at the beginning primes the pump so that I am fully engaged when it comes to interacting more freely in conversation. Ezgi is a highly skilled and thoughtful teacher.

I was not feeling well today and thought of cancelling the lesson, but decided to continue because we can't retreat from talking in real life just because we are ill or tired! I appreciated that Ezgi took the lesson at a slower pace to match the rate that my brain was able to process what she was saying and to formulate my responses. :-)

Ezgi helped me get straight how to use comparatives and superlatives which I was still confused by 3 years into learning Turkish! She also helped me streamline a talk I'll be giving this week, and gave pointers to help me use more natural intonation. Since my goal for this year is to work on FLUENCY, I think this is a pretty good start :-)
