#Expressions
When learning a new language, there are so many new expressions that are usually tied to the culture behind the language.
Hey there, English learners!😉 The holiday season is just around the corner, and you know what that means—it’s time to start watching some Christmas movies!🎄✨ The other night, I watched “The Holiday” (one of my all-time favourites). It’s packed with fun expressions and catchy phrases, so I thought I’d share one with you. Before taking the quiz, check out the picture below and read the caption.⬇️ P.S.: What are your favourite Xmas movies? Let me know in the comments—I’m looking for some great recommendations to add to my watchlist this season! 🎄📜🎬
When you do something “on a whim,” it means that:
you do it suddenly, without much thinking
you think it through carefully
you travel light, without much luggage
you do it in a hurry

Korean "delicacies" #2 When we learn a foreign language, some words and expressions are difficult for us. Sometimes it is a difficulty in pronunciation (I have this with batchim "ㅇ"), and sometimes we simply do not like their sound. Something grates, rustles or hisses in them. We do not like it and that's it. But there are also expressions that immediately catch our ear and we learn them unconsciously, in passing. I feel the words. They have a taste, smell, even color for me. Some are exceptionally tasty for me and that is why I want to share them even at such a beginner level as I am. Thank you Heonsoo Shin for teaching me these delicacies! 여기저기 - being here and there, being place to place, everywhere (EN) 여기저기 - tu i tam, tam i ówdzie, wszędzie (PL)
