    An essay: first impressions are always right

    I am totally against the statement above. I think that in the majority of cases the first impressions can be deceptive.
    Unfortunately people only understand this with ages. And When you are young and have no experience you can be too reliant on first impressions and as a result you can come to the wrong conclusion. 
    I have a good example from my own life. Twelve years ago I was pregnant and when I got to the maternity hospital I had a neighbor in the ward. Her name was Angela. The first day we met we had a quarrel and I thought she was a complacent, bad tempered, arrogant person. At that moment I could not conceive that at some point my opinion would change. Nevertheless some days later I realized that Angela was utterly the best woman in the whole world. Now she is my best friend. She is intelligent, likable, friendly and kind person. I know this!
    However, sometimes first impressions can be right. For example, when you meet your love and then carefully cherish the memories of your first meetings and first impressions throughout your life.
    As I have discussed there can be right and wrong first impressions when you meet someone.
    At least  If people gave less weight to first impressions then they would make fewer mistakes in life.

    Sea side picnic. 海辺のピクニック

    On February 4th of the Japanese calendar it is 'Risshun.'
    日本のカレンダーでは、２月４日は’立春’です。
    'Risshun’ means the first day of spring.
    ‘立春’は、春の第一日目という意味です。
    It was a fine day on ‘Risshun’ of this year, and spring seemed to really arrive.
    今年の立春は、とても天気が良くて、本当に春が来たようでした。
    Because it was the weekend, I went for a picnic with my family by the sea.
    週末だったので、家族で海辺にピクニックに行きました。
    I bought some French bread in a bakery and with bacon, meatloaf and a boiled egg, enjoyed early spring by the seaside.
    ベーカリーでフランスパンを買って、ベーコンやミートローフ、ゆで卵などを持って、早春の海辺を楽しんできました。
    Spring shines on the beautiful sea, (on Sky is higher and higher.)
    春の光が美しい海に輝いて、空はどこまでもどこまでも高かった。
    I enjoy taking naps to my heart's content there.
    そこで思う存分昼寝を楽しみました。

    Failing a project

    Failing a project could be a hard thing to deal with, especially if you have to spend long hours working on that project thinking that it may be perfect or at least ok, but when the reality is that the project is not what your boss or teacher was expecting, you can get upset, because you didn't achieve your goal of doing a good job, in other words you didn't meet somebody's desired requirements. It is frustrating when you have to hear somebody telling you that your work is not good enough, however you must realize that sometimes you will have to put in extra effort to get where you want. Sometimes you want to give up and don't even try anything else, but the thing is if you really want to succeed in anything in life, you have to fail first, and then you can start again.

    I will have to go to a meeting with one of our potential customers tomorrow.
    I will have to answer the phone. I will have to write and respond to e-mails. I will also have to organise meetings.
    I usually go to a meeting three times a week. When I have a busy week I sometimes have to go (to a meeting) more often.
    I have a meeting with one of our regular clients on Tuesday.
    This job has great prospects. First of all I can gain new qualifications. I can also get more experience.
    I don't see any prospects in this company and that's why I want to change my job.
    To be a good saleswoman you have to respect your clients, offer the best products and smile.
    In order to get this job you have to be qualified. You have to have a diploma, the correct skills and speak foreign languages.
    You can usually find a name, surname, phone number, e-mail address and company's address on the business card.
    I won't take this job if I will have to move to Greece.
    I am interested in this position but I want to know more about the working conditions.
