Top 1% of the Continent 2023 After I graduated from school I started giving advise to students about the spanish language and spanish literature. Now it's been 2 years here in iTalki as a community tutor reaching the Top 1% in my region in 2022. I'm looking for a mutual improvement with my students.

After some time in Dublin I decided to study for a Master’s Degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I was so curious about sharing my language and my culture with people from other countries. When I completed my studies, I moved to Italy where I have been living since. I have had the oportunity to teach people of different ages with different interests which has broadened my experience as a teacher. My passion to learn other languages helps me empathise with students, facilitating the planning of the course.

That is to say, I'm a language guide, not the king of a classroom. Beginners' language lessons will be more structured, while conversation hours will be more free-form. We'll learn some cultural tidbits in between denser lessons, and I'm more than happy to provide a movie, song, or comic rec to help you learn! I've also got experience working with all levels of learner: kids in school, university students, and adults (including immigrants and refugees) who are trying to develop or polish their skills! :)

I feel that if my students are enjoying the class they will learn more effeciently. Each person is unique, so I like to adapt to everyone following their interests. I like to make them feel comfortable. Encouraging them to feel confident speaking by not correcting them too much when they speak, so they are not interrupted and they can complete their ideas while creating sentences. I like using humor because I think is a part of my philosophy of life, and always helps with breaking the ice and increasing comfort.
