German obviously is my native language, and I basically have a whole life of experience speaking English at work or privately. Russian is my 3rd strongest language, and although I have no certificates confirming that, I can teach you that language up to a pretty high level, as you can see from my intro video. German Tutor since Oktober 2021 I have already teached German and English to japanese People in Tokyo and it worked quite well. Now i want to improve my teaching Skill and help People learning the Language. I work since Oktober 2021 on Italki and have got some Experience by now. I think i am on a good way to become a decent Teacher. In the German Chamber of Commerce, I was also involved in editing a yearly bi-language training brochure for special trainings in Shanghai. But I also taught English and German for a year in kindergarten, where I focused on fun in acquiring a new language. In Germany I mainly taught German privately, mainly focusing on the Testdaf-exam but also the German high school-diploma Abitur. Occasionally, I also prepared students for the TOEFL-Exam.

I try to understand each student's needs and requirements and continuously adjust my lessons accordingly. Keeping them light and refreshing, with the aim to make learning as natural as possible.

Speaking is the best way to learn a language, so my lessons usually center around having an actual conversation in German, but I will also give you grammar instructions and help you with pronunciation as and when necessary. If you struggle with any particular grammar topic, we can of course also dedicate a whole lesson to that. Generally I'm happy to adapt myself to your needs and preferences. While we talk, I make extensive notes in a google document, I write down new vocabulary with example sentences, grammar instructions, corrections, etc. You'll have access to this document during and after the classes.

Más de 17 años de experiencia I never thought that teaching could be the right job for me, but - here I am - seventeen years and around a thousand of students later. At some point, I realised that teaching had become a passion. My professional experience before italki was focused mainly on exam preparation both in English (e.g. Cambridge, Trinity) and German (Goethe Institut, telc) and included - apart from the usual group and individual, intensive and regular courses - level-testing and organising mock exams. For several years, I also worked as an English examiner and corrector at one of the universities in Spain. I hold a C2 Certificate in Spanish (DELE).

Seit 2016 unterrichte ich zunehmend auch im Internet. In 2015/16 I completed additional education as a trainer for German as a foreign or second language. Then I first taught German for asylum seekers in Austria. Since 2016 I have been teaching more and more online.

I started off as a student on iTalki, learning Chinese, Dutch and Italian. Over the years of studying different languages in different ways I realised that talking is truly the best way to learn a language and gain confidence. This can be especially difficult in the start and most people are reluctant to speak in public. That's why I centre my lessons around communication and interactive learning.
