大谷翔平(おおたにしょうへい)選手(せんしゅ)がグローブをプレゼントしたニュースがありましたね。

日本の小学校(しょうがっこう)に、
グローブを3つ、プレゼントします。

なぜ3つ？なのか。

それは、
右利き(みぎきき)のグローブが2つ、
左利き(ひたりきき)のグローブか1つ、
ぜんぶで3つ、だそうです。

私は右利きです。

ペンは右(みぎ)でもって、書きます。

おはしも右でもって、つかいます。

ボールも右手でなげます。

たぶん、右利きの人が多いですね。

大谷選手はどうでしょうか？

彼は、ボールは右でなげます。

でも、打(う)つときは、左です。

右も左も、両方(りょうほう)つかうことができます。

つまり、両利き(りょうきき)です。

あなたは右利きですか？左利きですか？

それとも、大谷選手と同じ、両利きですか？
