Il faut faire quelque chose pour mon papa taupe qui creuse tout le temps. Il se perd dans ses galeries! Il ne trouve jamais son chemin. Ce n'est pas rigolo. Alors, comme je suis une petite taupe très intelligente, j'ai eu une bonne idée: j’ai semé des cailloux blancs derrière mon papa qui creusait. Comme ça, nous retrouvons tout de suite le chemin de notre salle à manger souterraine! Pour les taupes, hip! hip! hip! hourra!

Se trata de un hombre alto, delgado y elegante, que siempre lleva un gran sombrero negro que cubre su rostro. Aparece por las noches montado en un caballo negro y es conocido por enamorar y engañar a mujeres jóvenes.

El Sombrerón las corteja con melodías de guitarra y dulces palabras, pero una vez que caen en su encanto, las jóvenes empiezan a enfermarse misteriosamente. Se debilitan cada día más, como si su energía fuera drenada por este extraño ser. La única manera de librarse de él es evitar el contacto visual con su sombrero o usar crucifijos y oraciones para alejarlo.
