How to say “Happy Birthday” in Thai.

This is a phrase that you can use.
สุขสันต์วันเกิด
สุขสันต์ mean Happy
วันเกิด means Birthday
Let’s talk a little bit about สุขสันต์
Eventhough it means Happy, but it is not used in the sentence like “I am happy”.
If you want to say “I am happy”, then you’ll have to say ฉันมีความสุข
Normally you will find สุขสันต์ in a phrase like Happy Birthday, Happy Mother’s Day, Happy
Valentine’s day , etc.
I give you some example, Mothers’ day , In Thai we say วันแม่
So, when you want to say Happy Mother’s day , you will simply say สุขสันต์วันแม่
ok, how about วันพ่อ, วันพ่อ is Father’s day.
Now can you tell me how to say “Happy Father’s Day”.
Give you 3 seconds… 1…2….3 Yes, you got it. สุขสันตัวันพ่อ
When you want to send your birthday wish, some of the most common phrases to say is
ขอให้มีความสุข Wish you happy
ขอให้ร่ำรวย Wish you weathy
ขอให้สุขภาพแข็งแรง Wish you healthy
and sometimes, you want to send these 3 wishes at one time!
You can just join them together as
ขอให้มีความสุข ร่ำรวย สุขภาพแข็งแรง
Finally, any listeners who have a birthday today. This is my wish for you
ขอให้มีความสุข ร่ำรวย สุขภาพแข็งแรง ค่ะ
