Limiting beliefs are deeply ingrained thought patterns or beliefs that hold us back from reaching our full potential and achieving our goals. 

These beliefs are often negative and self-defeating, leading us to doubt ourselves, avoid challenges, and hinder our personal growth and success. Limiting beliefs can manifest in various areas of life, such as relationships, career, health, and personal development.

Self-sabotage: Limiting beliefs create a self-fulfilling prophecy, leading us to engage in behaviors that validate those beliefs. For example, if someone believes they are not good enough to succeed in their career, they might avoid taking on new opportunities or promotions.

Fear and avoidance: These beliefs often instill fear and anxiety, making us avoid situations that challenge our beliefs or might lead to personal growth. As a result, we miss out on valuable experiences and opportunities.

Lack of confidence: When we hold onto limiting beliefs, our self-esteem and confidence suffer. We underestimate our abilities and hesitate to take on challenges, which can hinder progress and success.

Negative mindset: Limiting beliefs create a negative mindset, where we focus on what we can't do rather than what we can achieve. 

Overcoming limiting beliefs is essential for personal growth and achieving success. Here are some steps to challenge and change limiting beliefs:

Awareness: Recognize and identify your limiting beliefs. Understand how they are influencing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Questioning: Challenge the validity of these beliefs. Look for evidence that supports and contradicts them. Often, you'll find that many limiting beliefs are based on unfounded assumptions.

Reframing: Replace limiting beliefs with empowering and constructive beliefs. Focus on your strengths, accomplishments, and potential.

昨日のエピソード聞いてくれた人いるかな？
多分残念なことに聞いてない人がほとんどだと思うんだけど、昨日のエピソードでは大晦日について話したんだよね。で、今日はねぇ元旦について話したいと思うんだけど、元旦とはなんなんだい？ってやっぱり思ってる人がいると思うから説明しますね。
昨日のエピソードの大晦日は12月31日の年の最後の日だったでしょ？んで、元旦ってのはねぇ、反対で1月1日の年の始まりのことなんだよね。
で、元旦から1月8日までの期間を日本ではお正月って言うんだけどね、それについてはまた違うエピソードで話そっかな。
ちなみに元旦にはねぇ、日本人は大体家族とか親戚と集まって『おせち』って言う日本の伝統的な料理を食べたり、『初詣』のために神社に行ったりする人も多くて、基本的には家族と集まる人が多いかな。
んで、今日はその元旦について皆は何をしますかって言うエピソードなんだけど、どうだった？
みんなの元旦は楽しかった？それとも、つまらなかった？
俺はねぇ、今年の元旦はいつもよりかなり落ち着いてて正直普通の人あんまり変わらなかったな。
っていうのも、前までは友達と一緒に初日の出を見に行こうって言うので、毎朝6時位に友達と一緒に集まってお決まりのスポットに行って初日の出ってその年の1番最初の日の出を見るって言うのを友達とやってたんだけどね。俺は2年前にスウェーデンに日本から旅立ってるから今回日本にそのビザの問題で帰って来なきゃいけなくなったんだけど、その2年間はスウェーデンに住んでたから、友達と初日の出に行けなかったんだよね。で今回久しぶりに2年ぶりにお友達と初日の出楽しみだなぁって思ってたんだけどでも俺も友達もコロナウィルスが心配だから、今年は残念だけど集まるのはやめよっかって言って、あのもうそれぞれね、個人で初日の出を見ながらビデオ通話をして初日の出を、まるで一緒に見ているかのような、数年前までと同じような雰囲気を楽しむって言うことをしてたね。
だから、正直何か物足りなかったなとは思うけど、まぁ1人で見ても初日の出はやっぱりなにか気持ちよかったなぁ。
初日の出を見た後は、仕事はなかったから結構ゆったりしてたんだけど、普通に筋トレしていつも通りの日々を過ごしてたからあんまり何か特別な日って言う感じもしなかったなぁ。
