After I saw this topic, then I opened Douban app, the place recorded most of the movies/TV series that I've seen. Generally, there are 3 types of TV series I really like, they are drama, suspense, and cartoon. And I would like to recommend some of my favourites in these types that I've seen in the recent one year. Drama (剧情) : Like a Flowing River (大江大河) , tells about the story of 3 typical characters in Chinese economic reform and opening up during 1978-1995, and the 3 characters are full of flesh and blood and really attractive! the other two in this type: This is Us (我们这一天)-American Nothing but Thirty (三十而已) Suspense (悬疑) : Forest of Secrets (秘密森林)-Korean, reveals and discusses about the confliction between the system of prosecutors and polices in South Koean. It's sharp, fresh and at a cracking pace. the other two in this type: Dark (暗黑)-Germany Cat's Cradle (隐秘的角落) Cartoon (动画) : Incarnation (灵笼)-Future, shows a completely different world in the future, we said it as the top tier of Chinese cartoon in the storyline and visual effect. the other two in this type: Soul (心灵奇旅)-American Great Journey of Teenagers (少年歌行) If you're learning Mandarin Chinese, maybe you can pick up some Chinese tv series that I mentioned, they are really hot in China.
