I think that some people was born with a innate leadership skill but many other people has developed it through the exercise of some abilities such as empathy. I mean that we are able to learn how to listen other people and being assertive and many leaders of the world have learned the abilities that allowed them to be successful and admired.

We are able to learn how to listen to other people and how to be assertive and many world leaders have learned the skills that allowed them to be successful and admired.

Really really good work!! The only thing I would really say is that ‘ability’ can’t really be used in this context. I know you’re trying to vary your language and not use ‘skill.’ Your ability in something is how well you are able to do it, but being able to do that thing is a skill. ‘Ability’ is like measuring how good you are at the skill. Hope this helps!!
