Dear iTalkers, what's the difference between "nothing doing" and "nothing can be done"?

News on Large Hadron Collider or News about Large Hadron Collider? Hi there, I often read in news the phrase "report on smth", "feedback on smth" etc. I would use about instead of "on". Is it a special news style? P.S.: Large Hadron Collider is just an example :)

Dear friends, could you please tell me what preposission I should use with "to be shocked"? at/with?
