My head hurts so much since yesterday. So, I couldn’t concentrate in class and couldn’t get a part-time job. I'll go to bed early today when I get home where it's cooler. We have to be careful heat stroke. Especially in Japan. I hope the headache goes away soon because I have an assignment I have to do today.

Good morning! I haven't been getting enough sleep lately, and I feel tired. I guess the best way to relieve fatigue is to sleep. I want to go to a relaxing hot spring or a rock bath. Good morning. Today, I'm going to write about my favorite place. My favorite place is Todaiji Temple. Do you know it? Because my grand parents live in Nara, so I have been to Todaiji for more than 10 times. Todaiji's attractive is the beauty of its history and architecture. It is built in Nara period to protect country. When I actually visited, I found the wooden architecture to be very old and fascinating. There are also many deer in Nara Park, which makes the place very relaxing. If you’ve never been there, I highly recommend visiting.

It was more humid than usual today, and I sweated a lot. There’s a bus that runs from my house to the station, but I usually walk to save money. Lately, though, it’s been so hot that it’s getting really tough. I’m starting to think it might be okay to take the bus once every three days. I really wish it would get cooler soon!

In Japan, religion is not based on one god or one clear teaching. Instead, it is more flexible, with many layers. Buddhism and Shinto exist side by side. People also believe in nature spirits and respect their ancestors. Because of this, even if someone doesn’t say, “I am Buddhist,” they still do religious things in daily life.

I had a sleepover with my friends over the weekend. It had been about a month since we last saw each other, so I’d been really looking forward to it and it turned out to be so much fun! We had a takoyaki party at my friend’s house for dinner. Even the preparation was a blast, and time just flew by. The takoyaki we made together tasted even better than usual! Since one of my friends has a birthday coming up, we also had cake and gave them a present. They looked really happy, and that made me happy too. After dinner, we stayed up late chatting about our high school memories and watching movies. We ended up going to bed super late. The next day, we woke up around noon and went to karaoke. It was so much fun and we all got super into it I didn’t want to go home. We made plans to meet again next month, and I’m already looking forward to it. Even though I was really tired afterward, I laughed so much and had the absolute best time. It was an amazing two days.

English students: Can you relate to this? You want to sound more clear and understandable to a native English speaker. Not just have people understand a few of your words then assume what you're actually saying. But to have your listeners completely understand you instantly without having to make any assumptions or use 'context' clues. Maybe you've never had someone from the United States judge your speaking before. Maybe you've only had friends and family judge your speaking and they haven't offered much in regards to what you should improve on.
