Today, I celebrated my friend's 20th birthday! We’ve been close since our very first day of university. From grabbing lunch together to sitting through classes, we’ve shared so many memories, and she means the world to me. I’m so happy I could celebrate this milestone 20th birthday with her. I got her a lovely necklace from Pandora in Shibuya and prepared a bouquet of flowers! We had dinner at a wonderful restaurant, and the birthday plate was delicious. It was truly such a great day—I really hope she loved it! I will celebrate har birthday next year. I’m forward to celebrating it!

I am sad, because my summer vacation has finally ended. I had a relaxing summer this year. I went to a zoo with my aunt, having fire works with my friend and a live of my favorite artist. I had a good time. However, I could not get up early and did not exercise, so I did not have a healthy days. （I am not lazy, My home was very comfortable.） Even so, I am able to spend less stressful days than usual, so I enjoyed my summer. This fall, I will study hard, because I took courses more than I imagined. I am worried.I might burn out and decrease my grades.

Today, I went shopping and had a relaxing day. First, I went to a shopping mall to look for new sneakers. I found a pair that I really liked, so I decided to buy them. They were comfortable and looked good, so I was happy with my choice. After buying the sneakers, I went to a store to buy some daily necessities. I bought things that I needed for my room and everyday life. I enjoyed walking around the stores and looking at different products. It was a simple day, but I was satisfied because I bought useful things that I had wanted. After shopping, I went home and spent the rest of the day relaxing.

I finished summer vacation and started school last Friday. After that, A five day holiday was coming soon. I don’t feel like going to school. I want to get used to waking up early and attending class as soon as possible. I have five English classes, so I worry about that. I will do homework like writing 100words once a week. I felt that 100words was more than I expected. I can’t write very much because I don’t have writing skill and English words vocabulary. And, I don’t have any topics I want to write about. Before I was hard posting every day but writing 100words once a week is also hard.

**Learning a language is a lot like being in a relationship.** Many students get extremely excited at the beginning of their language-learning journey. It’s similar to the honeymoon stage of a relationship—the excitement is high, motivation is strong, and you want to give it everything you’ve got. But just like relationships, that initial excitement eventually settles down. And that’s where consistency matters. You don’t become fluent by going all in for a few weeks and then losing momentum. Language learning is a long-term commitment. It requires consistent effort, patience, and the right strategy. That’s why I always remind my students: **don’t get too caught up in the excitement of the beginning.** The process takes time. Dating can be similar. You don’t have to rush into giving someone everything right away. You take the time to get to know them, see if there’s compatibility, and gradually build something meaningful. Language learning works the same way. **Find a pace you can sustain. Make time for it. Stay consistent. Adjust your strategy when needed.** You don’t need to do everything at once. Hello. I opened this app for the first time in a while! During the first half of Silver Week, I worked part-time from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for two days.😭 In the second half, I stayed at my friend’s house, and some of my friends from high school came to stay at my place too! We had a party at night while watching horror movies together.👻🍻I also went to Motomachi-Chukagai, ate xiaolongbao, and enjoyed shopping! There was a typhoon, so the rain was pretty bad, but I had a really fun and fulfilling Silver Week! According to what I heard, the next Silver Week will be six years from now, so I can’t wait!!! Unfortunately, I caught a cold today, probably because I’m tired, so I want to go to bed early and get some rest for tomorrow. 😮‍💨
