I went to eat Mister Donut’s Mochchurin with my friend.🍩 We went early in the morning and waited, so we can get it. They were all delicious, but the mitarashi flavor was the best. I want to eat it again‼︎

American English tutor Alice here with a question for American English language learners... Do you use phrasal verbs when you speak? How many do you know? How many do you understand what they mean? Do you just know a few? Do you just use a few? Do you use the same ones because of so few that you actually know? If you need to learn more phrasal verbs and need help let me know. One phrasal verb below. Phrasal verb: Add up to something Means: Equal Example: Your purchases add up to $3.00

🦉Kill two birds with one stone ✨Did you know that the English idiom "Kill two birds with one stone" has an exact equivalent in Japanese? It is called 一石二鳥 (Isseki Nichou) 一 (Ichi) = One 石 (Seki) = Stone 二(Ni) = Two 鳥(Chou) = Bird A:「犬を かったので、毎朝 さんぽに 行きます」 B:「そうですか。犬もよろこびますし、けんこうにも いいですね。一石二鳥ですね」 While many Japanese four-character idioms come from ancient China, '一石二鳥' is a rare one that was translated from the English proverb in the late 19th century. ✨ Why not kill two birds with one stone in your Japanese journey? Enjoy the conversation and learn something today!

American English language learners that are wanting to improve their spoken American English.... Have you ever had a native English speaker born and raised in the US judge your spoken American English? Have you ever had them type to you the mistake that you said either a word or phrase not pronounced right or wrong sentence structure then type to you the correct pronunciation/word/sentence structure? Someone to listen to every sound you make as you speak to analyze the word choices you make and the order in which you speak your words to let you know if it's common to be said or natural to be said? Someone that will also focus on the amount of hesitation you have when speaking. How often you repeat words and phrases. To give you immediate or afterwards corrections. That way you know exactly what you're struggling with and what to improve on so you can become 'unstuck' in this difficulty that you're having with the American English language.
