Depois, voltei a Portugal onde tirei o mestrado em Ensino de Português Língua Estrangeira. Daqui fui para a China, Trinidad e Tobago e Goa, onde ensinei em universidades. Lecionei PLE em duas universidades em Portugal: universidade de Aveiro e Faculdade de Letras de Coimbra.
