アメリカのクリスマスは日本との違います。去年、日本に住んでてあそこに過ごしました。私の出身地には雪が時々降りますが、四国地方には温かいので山の上しか降りません。アメリカに比べて、日本にはイルミネーションが少なくて、ラジオにクリスマスの歌が聞こえませんでした。私にとって懐かしいので、イルミネーションがたくさんある寒い場所のほうがクリスマスっぽいだと思います。家族とともに車の中でココアを飲みながら、近所のイルミネーションを見ることが最高です。アメリカはクリスマスが大好きですね。実はアメリカ最大の祝日です。 その一方、日本はクリスマスよりお正月のほうが好きだと思います。クリスマスは休日ではないけど、お正月は3日間の休日です。アメリカには、カウントダウンや花火をやります。日本のほうがお正月の習慣が多いですね。おせち、初詣、お雑煮、みくじなどがあります。文化の違いはすごく面白いと思います。皆さん、好きな季節や祝日は何ですか？ほかの国と何の習慣が違いますか？

Today, started speaking English with my little students. I find it hard to speak merely in English so I use Vietnamese beside. I know it is because of my weak English partly but mostly because of my self discipline. I will try better tomorrow.

My family is planning to go to Korea at the end of the year. There are five people in my family. My older sister often goes to Korea, so this time she will guide us. It will be my first time traveling abroad, so I am very excited. I usually watch Korean dramas, so I cannot wait to eat Korean food and buy cute clothes in Korea. The food I want to eat the most is something like Japanese oden that they have in Korea. I think Korea will be cold, so I want to eat warm food and wear thick clothes to stay warm. I want to visit Itaewon and Seoul. My younger sister likes makeup, so we also want to go to Korean cosmetic shops. If we have time, I want to wear a traditional dress called hanbok and take pictures. I really hope this plan will come true. I have more things I want to do at the end of the year. For example, I want to go to the first shrine visit of the year and draw a fortune slip. I also want to eat delicious food from food stalls. Every year I go to see the first sunrise with my friends, so I want to go this year too. I really love my mother’s ozoni, so I want to eat that and osechi as well. I also want to work hard at my part-time job so I can go out and have fun a lot.
