Written Exercise 42 - Dim Sum
Do you know what dim sum is? If you have never eaten dim sum, you will never know how delicious it is. If you have tasted them, you will never forget the first time you ate them. I suppose that if you have visited Hong Kong or Canton China, you would have heard of dim sum and maybe even eaten them. Dim sum is a Cantonese food consisting of a variety of items (such as steamed or fried dumplings, pieces of cooked chicken, and rice balls) served in small portions.
Please take a look at the pictures. They are different types of dim sum. Picture 1 is a dish of steamed pork ribs. Picture 2 is a dish of steamed chicken feet. Picture 3 is a dish of steamed beef meat balls. Picture 4 is a dish of egg tarts. Picture 5 is a dish of deep fried stuff which consists of a spring roll stuffed with Chinese leek shoots and meat, 2 glutinous rice sesame balls stuffed with mashed sweet potato and 2 glutinous rice balls stuffed with mashed pork meat. Picture 6 is a dish of pudding made from water-chestnut powder and milk.
Will you take a flight to China or Hong Kong to taste the most original dim sum, providing COVID-19 is eliminated soon?
