It is been a while that I logged in italki last time. Now we use AI every day, offloading our thoughts and writing. However, I feel the increasing need to express in my own words. Undergraduates now face an increasing competitive job market since AI can replace routine work. The education industry is under risk since universities may also be confused about what to teach. For example, for the teaching of writing style, it is difficult too. Students are increasingly using AI to write every homework. But I think that kills creativity. If we can only be the median on the normal distribution, that would undoubtedly kill our opportunity for jobs too. In China, the birth rate is hitting new low.
