Hello native English speakers.
Which of these two sentences is grammatically correct?
Do they have the same meaning? (what is the meaning of it?)
1. I have learned to be dangerous upon points of honour since I served the Spaniard.
2. I have learned to be dangerous upon points of honour since I have served the Spaniard.

🎯 The student who surprised me after 6 months
She didn’t study more hours than others.
She didn’t have a special talent.
But she did one thing differently.
Every day — just 10 minutes — she talked out loud in Spanish.
To herself. To her cat. To nobody. 😄
No perfect grammar. No waiting to “be ready.”
Just… speaking.
Six months later? She went from silence to real conversations.
Not perfect. But real. ✨
Here is the truth I tell all my students:
You don’t need more vocabulary.
You don’t need a better textbook.
You just need to start talking. Today.
Tell me — what is YOUR biggest block when speaking Spanish?
Fear? Grammar? Vocabulary? Something else? 👇
(There are no wrong answers here — just honest ones)

In Persian speaking communities, when a new baby comes to this world, people such as friends, colleagues should congratulate the new baby to the mom and dad.
But do you know how people congratulate it: "qadam-e naw raseda mubaarak!" It basically means may the newly born baby bring prosperity to your life.
Do you have any native Persian friend?
