It is very important to use contractions in your speech. They are not informal, they are always required. I discuss this in today's podcast.

大家好，最近天气回暖，南法也开始变得越发热闹，希望万物复苏的季节大家的心情也可以得到适当地放松。今天和大家分享狄更斯在《双城记》里的一段话，他说：“那是最美好的时代，也是最糟糕的时代；那是智慧的年头，也是愚昧的年头；那是信仰的时期，也是怀疑的时期；那是光明的季节，也是黑暗的季节；那是希望的春天，那也是失望的冬天。“

可能这个世界就是由黑暗和光明组成的，我们应该，向往光明，但也不畏惧黑暗。

用顾城的一首诗来结尾吧：“黑夜给了我黑色的眼睛，我却用它来寻找光明。”

When we want to say goodbye or some wishes for listeners in Korean,
Of course, You can just say “안녕히 계세요.” Like “goodbye”. 
But we have another expression. 
Super simple, super useful.

“주말 잘 보내세요.”

Let’s practice. 
Please take a cue from me.

A:このワイン、たかいです。１００００円です。
B:うわー、たかいですね。どこのワインですか。（where is the wine from?）
A:　オーストラリアのワインです。
B：えーっ、おかしいです。（it’s strange!）オーストラリアのワインはあまり高くないですよ。
これは、２５００円です。
A:　いいですね。

A:きょうの東京（とうきょう）は、あまりあつくないです。(not too hot)
雨です。
なつは、とてもあついです。(very hot)

A:東京（とうきょう）は　にぎやかです。しずかじゃありません。
でも、べんりなまちです。たのしいです。

A:アンドリューさん、おげんきですか。
B:いいえ、げんきじゃありません。いそがしいです。ひまじゃありません。
A:あー、そうですか。気（き）をつけてください。(take care of yourself)

A:　うわー。車でケータイ！！！　自転車（じてんしゃ）でスマホ！！
よくないです。よくないです。わるいです。

A:日本語（にほんご）はやさしいですか。Is Japanese easy to understand?
Bやさしくないです。むずかしいです。

A:冬休み（ゆふやすみ）、奈良（なら）に行（い）きます。
