みなさん、こんにちは。
今日は私の娘の話をします。私の娘は小学4年生です。4歳のころからピアノを習い始め、毎日コツコツ練習する女の子です。そして、音楽教室の発表会や試験に加えて、毎年、何らかのコンクールに出ています。今年は、1年生の時に失敗してしまったコンクールに、もう一度挑戦したいと、自ら「意を決して」挑戦することになりました。
たかが小学1年生。失敗なんて、大げさだって感じですが、彼女は鮮明（せんめい）にそのことを覚えているようです。というのも、事ある毎に、そのことを口にするんです。困ったものです。
失敗の内容は、あまりの緊張で自分が選曲した課題曲ではなく、前の演奏者の曲を弾き始めてしまったのです。そして、途中で気づき、自分の曲を弾きなおしました。とてもショックだったようです。なので、彼女はそれ以降、このコンクールだけには出たくないと言い切っていました。当時（とうじ）は、わあわあと泣いていましたが、終わったことは悔（く）いても「後の祭り（あとのまつり）」です。
で、それから3年経（た）ち、迎えた1次予選。とても緊張して臨（のぞ）みました。1次予選の曲は、彼女にとってはとても簡単でした。でも、本当に緊張していたようです。1週間前ぐらいから「もう弾けない」「緊張する」と練習のときから言っていました。そして、本番。冒頭、慌てたようで、音を外してしまうという失敗。まさかの失敗。あー、あっという間に夏が終わってしまったという感じでした。終わったあとは、思わず私と二人で唖然（あぜん）としてしまい、言葉が出ませんでした。そして彼女の表情は、悔しさでいっぱいという感じでした。
でも、最初の失敗はあったものの、今回は一気に最後まで弾（ひ）き切（き）ったというのが、3年間の努力の成果だったと思います。
コンクールの日から一夜明け（いちやあけ）、結果発表。「あっ、番号があった！！」なんとか合格していたようで、大喜び。まだまだ緊張（きんちょう）が続く夏となりそうです。

娘のコンクール

Apa kabar semua? 
Tinggal beberapa hari sebelum akhir tahun 2023! Sangat cepat, bukan? 
Bagi kalian, tahun ini tahun seperti apa? Untuk saya, tahun ini adalah tahun yang penuh dengan perjalanan. Saya pergi ke banyak tempat dan dapat banyak pengalaman baru. Bagaimana dengan kalian?

Salah seorang teman saya bilang, di tahun 2023 ini dia kurang berhati-hati dan banyak menyesal. Menyesal adalah "regret" di Bahasa Inggris, dan di Bahasa Jepang adalah 後悔する。"Jadi di tahun 2024, harus sedia payung sebelum hujan!" katanya. 

Kalian mengerti artinya? siapkan payung sebelum terkena hujan. Artinya, lebih baik siapkan hal ini dan itu daripada nanti menyesal. Apa kalian juga orang yang selalu siapkan banyak hal sebelum masalah terjadi? Kalau saya, tergantung kondisi ya… kadang-kadang melakukan hal spontan dan tidak siapkan apa pun itu juga bagus, hanya ikut situasi atau kondisi yang mungkin terjadi. Yaa, hidup hanya satu kali, ayo kita menikmati dengan cara terbaik menurut kita.

Terima kasih banyak untuk para pendengar podcast saya ini, dan juga untuk murid-murid hebat saya di Italki. Kalian sudah memberi saya banyak inspirasi dan motivasi!!
